I feel called to serve the citizens of Hood County. To serve the county where Brenda and I have been blessed by those that served before me. The Hood County Judge is charged with the safety and well-being of every citizen. I am uniquely qualified to execute; laws, programs, and plans entrusted to and required by the office of Hood County Judge. Thanks to the good Lord; my personal qualifications, my record as the incumbent Hood County Judge and my vision to sustain the greatest of Hood County equip me to be the very best choice for the Chief Executive of our county.
 
As Chief Executive of Hood County, I understand the needs and demands on our natural resources, health, safety, well-being, and infrastructure. Moreover, I understand
what it takes to satisfy these needs and demands on a daily basis. Just as important, I must bring the ever-increasing needs and demands into focus with a clear vision and pragmatic plans to accommodate future growth in Hood County. The task requires a team effort and the strong leadership skills I have gained through years of experience. My personal relationships in Hood County, with neighboring County Judges and state officials, are an essential component for the purposeful planning and permanent prominence of Hood County.
